Silver mining is a captivating process that involves extracting silver from the earth. This precious metal has held a high economic value for centuries and continues to be sought after today. To begin the mining process, one must have a mining level of at least 20, which provides a 40% mining experience. Once the silver rocks are extracted, it takes approximately 60 seconds for them to reappear.
The next step in the process is smelting the silver ore, which transforms it into a silver ingot. This requires 20 blacksmith points and 13.7 blacksmith experience points. Unlike other metal rods, silver ingots can be manufactured in an oven rather than an anvil. To do this, a mold must be used depending on the type of jewelry desired.
Interestingly, one of the earliest methods of finding silver was by alloying it with gold, which is now known as electrum. While there are various ways to find silver, the most common method is through mineral deposits such as argentite, chlorargyrite, and galena.
